Mohammed M. Mupenda is an Experienced multilingual news correspondent, Interpreter/ Translator with strong communication and journalistic skills, knowledge of USA, East Africa and Great Lakes region, and hands-on experience in media writing, and interviewing high profile personalities from Presidents, Prime Minister, Senators, Congressmen, Ambassadors, Scholars, diplomatic, political, and corporate leaders.   He is Founder and CEO of Our Voice By Mupenda LLC, provides Travel Tips, Interpreting/ Translations, Advocacy and Travel consultancy. He is also Travel Consultant, Author working on series of various Books and Mupendaapartment Service Provider http://dvc.319.mywebsitetransfer.com/mupenda-apartments/.   He has worked with diverse online and newspapers in USA, EastAfrica including The EastAfrican Regional Publications, and been a news correspondent to a number of International News Agencies such as Xinhua, The Guardian and AP. Has been Independent Contractor with USA Interpreting/Translation Agencies for years.   He worked for non-profit organizations for years implementing some projects, funded by Birdlife International, MacArthur Foundation, Rwanda Nature Conservation Association, Nature Uganda, Nature Kenya and Association Burundaise de la Conservation most of all dedicated to nature and biodiversity.   Some of those projects include Ecosystem-based Adaptation to Climate Change, Climate Resilience In The Catchment of Lake Kivu, Transboundary Governance of Natural Resources in the Great Lakes Region.   He is currently doing a Masters in International Relations at Webster University, United States of America and looking forward to a PHD in Human Rights. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communications/ Journalism and an Associate Degree in Travel and Tourism Management.   He obtained a certificate for Career Advancement for International Professionals at International Institute of Saint Louis, USA. He is also an IISTL Strategic Planning Committee Member. Mupenda is a United States Member of the Society of Professional Journalists, he co- authored a book Africa Telling Diaspora. H
