Our Voice By Mupenda has stepped in the Arabian market starting from Dubai in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), marking a milestone in its quest to take travel consultancy and accommodation services to every corner of the world.

Seizing the opportunity at the Arabian Travel Market (ATM) 2024, the US-based startup caught the attention of a good number of exhibitors and exhibition goers at the global leading travel and tourism event that is taking place at the Dubai World Trade Centre from 6-9 May.

When Steven Allan and his wife walked by the Our Voice By Mupenda’s stand at the exhibition, the couple cast an eye on the pullup, their interest grew insatiable and drew near to enquire about the company’s services.

Mr Allan is the Service Delivery Director at the Baker Hughes, the Dubai-based Oil Field Services and Equipment, for the Middle East, North Africa, Turkey and India region.

Allan revealed, as a staunch fan of travel adventures, he and his wife previously hiked Kilimanjaro Mount in Tanzania as part of their honeymoon adventures and asked Our voice By Mupenda to facilitate his couple to return to East Africa for further adventure in the near future.

The Baghdad-based Terminal for Travel & Tourism is another company that contacted Our Voice by Mupenda for a business partnership as the Iraqi seeks to take its services to African market, just to mention but a few individuals and companies that expressed desire to strike deals.

Speaking from the Dubai annual trade fair on Tuesday, the Our Voice By Mupenda’s founder and Chief Executive Officer Mr Mugabo Mupenda said he was overwhelmed by the attention the company attracted.

“As Our Voice By Mupenda, we have come to Dubai with confidence emanating from the trust clients from other parts of the world have shown us in the last few years of our operations, however, the warm welcome we have been accorded at the Arabian market was beyond my expectation,” he said, adding that he has now planned to open operations’ offices in Dubai in the near future.

The company currently operates in the United States, Canada, Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda. It offers interpretation and translation services, immigration advocacy, travel consultancy, and travel news.

The US-based Our Voice by Mupenda, LLC is the mother company for OVM Investment Ltd which is registered in the East African countries.

“We are also the owners of state-of-the art Mupenda Apartments in Kampala and Kabale, Uganda. We are also heading to Dar es Salam in Tanzania to open operations this week to cement our footprint in the East African region,” Mupenda says, adding that Our Voice by Mupenda has got a good team of certified immigration, legal and medical interpreters, among other professionals in various fields.

Under the theme “Empowering Innovation: Transforming Travel Through Entrepreneurship,” ATM 2024 features 2,300 exhibitors from 165 countries, with around 41,000 visitors, emerging as the record-breaking edition of the annual trade fair which launched in 1994.
