Greetings from the United States of America, where I spend daily time juggling anything that would change our life, community and bring peace that Americans have enjoyed for decades. This past week, I was overwhelmed with much on table and stressed with the ongoing crisis in the Republic Democratic of the Congo. Prior to this, my daily schedule is fully engaged with reading international relations trends, spreading the word of peace that we all need and calling on world leaders to engage countries in crisis to stop fighting and opt for talks=diplomacy. As a person who lived his entire life watching wars taking people’s lives, destroying infrastructures and making some people stronger than others after the war. I have decided to spend my time educating myself and the community on the essence of peace which the United States and European countries have enjoyed after WWII.I also got to spend time with our fellow student taking on International Security class, these students argue their brightest ideas in class that align with international relations as major, i always enjoy most of the topic that equip us with skills on policy making, intelligence gathering, policy brief and memo, de-escalation of any crisis which i call on leaders to allow us time and listen to our contribution on future states, we wish to live in harmony and peacefully. Spending time with young students who have hope for a peaceful future has been a much-needed dose of humanity after previous, recurring, and recent events. To all readers and those with family in Republic Democratic of the Congo, Palestine, Ukraine, Somalia, Israel, and other areas in conflict — I stand with you. I condemn the terrorist actions, rebel groups in the eastern part of Republic Democratic of the Congo and other areas where terrorists and rebels have opted to paralyze the lives of our people, there is no justification for the murder and kidnapping of innocent civilians. Period. I equally hold on government that have failed to protect their people, we have trust in you and you owe us protection by all means. As, I watch the ongoing crisis around the world mainly Republic Democratic of the Congo, where I have people that reach out for daily assistance and help- very unfortunate that i can't help much, I remind leaders that, failure to protect Citizens and engage in conflict resolution, it does affect anything we do wherever we are. I also feel for the Palestinian people, and the humanitarian crisis that's unfolding there is heartbreaking. Too many innocent civilians in Israel and Gaza will suffer from the actions of a terrorist organization and the Israel government that has responded with harsh and hostile behavior for the retaliation. I am hopeful for the release of those kidnapped and a de-escalation of violence across the board hence spreading it to the world leaders and urging them to provide peace that serve humanity. We want to enjoy peace the United States has enjoyed for decades too. Until then, we must all come together to support this humanitarian crisis. “We spent our time on reading, researching and documenting each case found in our journey to impacting and advocating our community. You might be aware or not, stay informed that my passion into advocacy has been part of the whole life lived, since, my childhood until now. At this time, i am working on a policy memo to submit to the United States Congress. May the U.S Congress consider most of the issues that would be pinned and emphasized on, I am doing all for humanity that i strongly believe and hold on equal enjoyment without superiority of one to another. Most of us, live in challenging times, but I am hopeful our leaders around the world can resolve these conflicts with words and not war. If there’s anything my existence in the United States and travels around the world have taught me, it’s that we have far more in common than our differences.May you live to cherish humanity as CEO MUPENDA does.
