UCIS does not get mad when you sue them

Generally, USCIS does not get mad when you sue them. It’s just business. We’re not asking for anyone to get fired. We’re not asking for money. We’re just asking the government to do the job for which we paid a filing fee. Sure, it sounds scary to sue but after 1400+ cases, I’ve never had the client talk to the judge or talk to the government’s attorney as things are usually resolved before any kind of court hearing. So I would say don’t be afraid to sue, especially if you’ve been waiting for months or years for a decision. Sometimes, all it takes is a lawsuit to get a decision in a month after waiting for years, which is actually what happened to one of our clients just this week. My clients had waited more than five years for the husband’s visa to arrive - an unreasonable amount of processing time for a visa. We told them to sue, they sued, and the husband got his visa in a month. JimUSCIS does not get mad when you sue them
