USA: Reading Riders Book and Bike Riding Club Participate in Delightful Moments

On Saturday morning, the team composed of 20 Reading Riders Book and Bike Riding Club left Saint Louis City at 8:00 am, and headed to the U.S Department of Energy Office of Legacy Management-Weldon Spring Site. Upon arrival, Reading Riders Book and Bike Riding Club including Executive Director Mr. Bailey, Mr. Mupenda, One of Ready Readers’ Captain, kids and adults were welcomed inside the interpretive center. During the interpretation, kids were told the history of the Weldon Spring Site and the role it played during the Cold War.
Shortly after, kids accompanied by two guides, left for trail, one guide took the lead and second on the back, then bike riding kicked off. In the middle of the trail, guides taught kids about birds, plants while asking random questions. It was an engaging, learning activity and unforgettable memory to kids, Mupenda observed.
When riders
came back to the site, they were engaged in social activities including ball making and

them in; we later drove back to the Cabane library to share lunch.

. Bailey Youth Enrichment Foundation( BYEF) is a Missouri 501C3 youth services organization. The organization was started in 2010 to enrich the personal, social and academic development of young people in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th grades.
