In this video, we are going to talk about situations where a U.S. citizen has a fiancé that lives overseas and wants to come to the United States so that they can marry the U.S. citizen and get a green card.
We are going to walk you through the entire process from start to finish.
There are two things you need two know before we even get started.
1:
in order to be able to successfully file a fiancé petition you need to demonstrate that you and your fiancé have been in the same place on earth, that you have met face to face at some point in the last two years.
2:
you and your fiancé are both going to need to sign a form that says that you promise and intend to get married within 90 days of the fiancé’s arrival. These are two prerequisites, they are hard and fast rules they have to be satisfied in order for the I-129 enough to be approved. Saying that I invite you to go watch the whole video to know about the form itself. Jim
